These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Next Time app and website (together, "Next Time"). By downloading or using Next Time, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Next Time is made by an individual developer ("we", "us"). This agreement is between you and us — not with Apple.
1. Your licence to use Next Time
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Next Time on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), which also applies to your use of the app. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
2. What Next Time is
Next Time is a private memory layer for the people in your life — a place to capture the things you keep meaning to tell, ask, bring, or remember, plus a running set of notes about each person. It is a personal note-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, and we don't guarantee that anything you store in it will be complete, accurate, or acted upon.
Your notes live in your own private iCloud and are never shared with anyone else. Next Time has no accounts and no shared or social features — see our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
3. Everyone subscription
Next Time is free to use, with a limit on the number of people you can keep. "Everyone" is an optional in-app purchase that removes that limit and unlocks extra features. It is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) and also as a one-time lifetime purchase.
Current prices and options are shown in the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, and are subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
4. Billing, renewal & cancellation
An auto-renewable subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your App Store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price for your selected plan.
You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in the App Store: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that does not renew and is not billed again.
5. Free trial
If a subscription includes a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
6. Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple's policies. We can't issue refunds directly. You can request one via reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Your content
The people, notes, and tags you create belong to you. They're stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account — we never see them. You're responsible for the content you add. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
8. Acceptable use
Please use Next Time lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt, misuse, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its services.
9. "As is"
Next Time is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your particular needs.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Next Time. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
11. Apple
Apple is not responsible for Next Time or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Maintenance, support, and any product warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's, as further described in the Apple Standard EULA.
12. Changes
We may update Next Time and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your own country gives you additional rights.
